Job Description
Job Specific Responsibilities:
* Support Electrical Bill of Operations
* Rollout and drive implementation of the Electrical BoO
* Implement high level of standardization in all elements of the BoO
* Support standard training for all new Electrical Coordinators
* Grow technical competency of electrical team members (salary and hourly)
* Use the Electrical Launch Aid to drive improvement to our launches
* Improve EFTQ by driving common solutions across multiple VAPs
* Electrical Manufacturing Best Practice
* Facilitate the communication and sharing of best practices
* Own and rollout electrical assembly best practices
* On going WHAs/footprint evaluation
* Operator training
* Detailed operator JES
* Material handling interface
* Support electrical read across from all manufacturing plants on top electrical issues
* Drive plants to achieve the E-FTQ metric
* Drive common launch issues to closure across all assembly plants
* Support BIQ4 by driving common solutions to achieve E-FTQ glide path through current production and launch
* Lead OPEX projects as needed to improve launch electrical performance
* Support finding creative ideas to improve electrical launch execution
* Drive improvement on multi-plant EFTQ connector, harness, and software issues
* Additional
* Ability to work overtime and travel as needed (60% or more)
* This role supports all manufacturing electrical programs at all phases as required
Additional Job Description
Required Skills, Abilities and Experiences:
* Minimum 10 years manufacturing related experience
* Minimum 5 years electrical manufacturing process experience
* Extensive knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
* Extensive knowledge of vehicle electrical assembly plant processes
* In-depth knowledge of harness manufacturing processes
* Knowledge of PFMEA process
* Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and learn quickly
* High level of analytical ability to make difficult decisions and solve complex/unusual problems
* High level of interpersonal skills
* Ability to gather information, organize and make presentations to Senior Leadership
Preferred Skills, Abilities and Experiences:
* Assembly plant experience in either Production, Quality.
* Red X training
* DFSS training
* VIP electrical experience
