POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst works closely with the Sr Mgr Financial Analysis to provide financial support to an assigned business unit. Under general supervision, plans, coordinates and implements financial and business processes to support and enhance the financial management of the assigned business group. Position will have responsibilities related to monthly close, variance analysis, budgets and forecasts. Compiles and analyzes data. Responsible for supporting budget development and addressing operations statistical, business, and financial information requests including budget, expenses, variances, and performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Procure and manage data-sets required to support the department.

* Enhancement of current processes to drive departmental efficiency.

* Produce and maintain reporting utilized both within and outside the department.

* Work with others outside department to develop processes and reporting for driving business results.

* Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, MBA preferred.

* 2+ years relevant experience in Finance, Business, Analytics, Operations, Technology.

* Proficient with Excel (pivot tables/v-lookups/macros), Word, and other Office products.

* Experience with these tools a plus: Tableau, Alteryx, SQL.

* Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase a plus.

* Ability to work cross-functionality.

* Strong business, organizational, and communication skills.

* Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
