Cigna is seeking an associate-junior level data analyst with a background in data science and analytics. They will be working on an analytics team to support multiple product areas within the company. They type of work can vary depending on need. They can leverage data science practices to gain new insights in patient behavior, benefit effectiveness or product performance.

Skillset:

* Someone with great python, sql, maybe R experience is really needed.

* Analytic capabilities around patient journey framework

* Advanced excel skill

* Tableau experience or other BI visualization tools a good plus.

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with product and sales to build out and support member experience, product launch, pilots, and current product success.

* Use data and analytics to optimize the usability overall pharmacy benefits.

* Manipulating large data sets and combining them across the platforms. They will be using ETL tools and running general SQL and python queries.

* Work directly with product teams and business leaders to identify and understand business challenges, develop performance baselines and design strategies for measurably

* Analyze customer/prospect behaviors and KPIs using analytics tools and make recommendations.

* Improve campaign performance by implementing A/B testing from end-to-end, including, ideation and design, monitoring and reporting of results.

* Combine multiple data sets across many platforms utilizing ETL tools

* Analyze and pull data to gain new insights or uncover protentional areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

* Must be a current contractor with Express Scripts or Cigna

* Bachelors' degree in Data Management, Computer Science, or related field

* 1+ year of data analysis experience

* Strong data manipulation skills using SQL, Python, and/or R

* Strong Excel skills

Nice to Have:

* Tableau

* Hadoop or big data platform
