Overall Purpose: Come join the 1 Most Admired Telecommunications Company according to Fortune magazine. An Order Specialist will manage high profile wireline customer requests for federal customers. Position will mostly involve managing ordering requests but will also deal with provisioning, billing and maintenance of the latest in complex voice and networking technologies.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Gather order specifications, determine its accuracy, submit orders, and track requests through the provisioning systems. Review systems to ensure all elements of the order request are accurately flowing through the systems. Collaborate with the customer, sales, and network departments throughout the process. You will be an integral part of a team that will work through small and large requests to establish service and billing. Position requires the ability to manage multiple open tasks work with various internal departments with the goal of ensuring the customers satisfaction.
Skills, Experience and Education: College education preferred. A basic understanding of telecommunication or networking services preferred but not mandatory. Strong written and verbal communication skills required as well as the ability to easily navigate different software systems. High attention to detail. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and other software products and systems required. 1-2 years of experience preferred.
