The PPS organization works collaboratively and strategically with colleagues across the product lifecycle to identify, evaluate, understand, and communicate the safety profile of AbbVie products to protect patients worldwide.

The Strategic Operations team plays a critical role in conceptualizing, designing and implementing strategic projects, operations and business process initiatives across the PPS organization. The team is a high-profile, high-impact team that works with PPS functions on a range of critical initiatives from executing cross-functional safety process improvement initiatives to overseeing merger integration efforts to driving our World Class 2020 strategic roadmap. As a member of the team, you are at the forefront of working with senior leaders to identify critical priorities and drive high-value projects that make an impact on business performance.

Activities performed under roles:

* Advise upon strategic solutions, install best practices in social collaboration and knowledge management
* Support department communications, help colleagues adopt collaborative technologies, organized change management, and training development
* Manage project workstreams, creating and presenting compelling project deliverables, and producing status reports and other project artifacts
* Design media and branding for teams, including infographics, newsletters, logos, and videos
* Visualize instructional graphics, user interactions and learning sequence and flow
* Effectively utilize various means to convey and educate learners. Examples include audio, video, simulations, microlearning, learning games, and eLearning, etc.
* Support process automation and development of data analytic tools
* Aid in the development of PowerApps application(s), which could include designing the SharePoint data source, general functionality, graphics, and user interface

Qualifications
Desired Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Communications, Strong Writing skills, Strong organizational skills, Graphic design, learning design, Python coding (specific to Data Management Intern)

Open to all majors
3.0 minimum GPA
Returning to university for at least one semester and graduating within one-year post internship
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a graduate degree
Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e., extracurricular activities or projects)
Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT may be accommodated if the department can sponsor in a full-time employee capacity)
