Understand Commercial and Supply Chain Operations, as well as industry best practices, to provide support, guidance, education, and training on demand planning processes. Provide strategic and tactical direction for Supply Chain Demand Planning processes. Manage or support program activities to optimize performance and customer satisfaction. Influence key business partners to support process implementation and continuous improvement across demand planning and S&OP.;

Major Responsibilities:

* Understand the theory of Demand Management and S&OP; processes to drive tactical execution of AbbVie processes
* Benchmark and gain external insights on the trends regarding Demand Management and S&OP; processes
* Identify applicable practices and then function as a change agent within the organization to implement and ensure widespread adoption
* Influence change and gain support from key partners for improvement programs
* Provide governance, set priorities and ensure effective project management
* Lead complex improvement projects and initiate all activities that are necessary to successfully complete projects
* Build and maintain effective relationships with key Operations and Commercial stakeholders
* Be the focal point for continuous improvement expertise and troubleshooting
* Create and maintain process documentation

Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in business, management, science, or economics preferred
* At least 5 years prior experience in one or more of the following areas required: Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Management, Sales and Operations Planning, and Demand Management
* Desired knowledge of pharmaceutical, integrated business planning, and lean 6 sigma
* Advanced proficiency in Excel is required; Cognos, JDA, SAP is preferred
* Total combined years of experience required is 7 years
