Solder & Brazing Equipment Operator - Ottawa, OH

$18.50 per hour

$.35 per hour for 2nd & 3rd shift differential

The Position: Were looking for Assembly Production Operators to:

* Work on a moving/conveyor style production line or stabilized workstation
* Assemble and install parts by hand or using tools/equipment.
* Crating and packaging of materials, parts, products etc.
* Fill in vacancies on the assembly lines and support areas as needed
* Perform rework/repair as necessary
* Drive forklift or other power industrial vehicles
* Post production data is required
* Be trained and perform Solder/Brazing
* Be trained and perform LOTO

The Product: We make freezer products including but not limited to

* Upright and Chest Deep Freezers
* Refrigerators
* Ice Makers
* Trash Compactors

Requirements:

* Must have High School Diploma/GED
* Must be at least 18 years old or older
* Continuously stand or walk (up to 10 hours per day)
* Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 35lbs frequently
* 6+ months of manufacturing experience
* 3+ months current experience using silver solder and brazing equipment (No welding experience)

Preferred Experience:

* 2+ years of manufacturing environment experience
* 3+ months experience within a manufacturing environment using silver solder and brazing equipment

Responsibilities:

* Participate in training to learn how to follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
* Ensure the product is handled in a safe and quality focused manner
* Safely use precision hand and portable power tools and machine shop equipment
* Work as part of an assembly line team or on individual production jobs from start to finish.
