Whirlpool Corporation, Clyde Operations is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Material Planning Analyst within our Material Planning organization.

Function Overview:

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to our External Material Planning group to successfully purchase and deliver parts and raw materials from our global supply base. This includes managing hourly material planners and supplier relationships in accordance with Whirlpools values and goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. In order to be successful in this role, the Senior Analyst must have a solid understanding of the value stream of parts under their management - both the external flow to get to the plant but also the internal flow upon arrival. The external material team is accountable for ensuring optimum purchased material availability in the support of planned production levels and inventory goals. As the leader of the External planning group, you will be responsible for providing the team with proper facilitation and coaching around data analysis, decision making, and presentation of solutions around supply issues. These situations are often under tight time constraints and require the ability to make decisions with less than complete data and information. Additional responsibilities include ensuring SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance in regards to Inventory Accuracy and compliance with the Parts Management / Safety Stock Process

Responsibilities:

* Manage and monitor Domestic and International supply base
* Lead External Planning Team
* Support monthly RWIP (Removal Work in Progress) and IBO (Instrument Business Outlook)
* Forecast SME (Small to Medium Enterprise ) for safety stock tool execution monthly
* Monitor planning metrics and lead problem-solving efforts
* Collaborate with Supplier Operations to ensure proper Supplier constraints are maintained
* Achieve RWIP, DTC (Deliver to Commitment) and Cost goals
* RWIP and In-Bound Logistics cost forecasting accuracy and improvement opportunities
* Support maintaining 98% Inventory Accuracy
* Support maintaining all SOX Compliance metrics for Inventory Accuracy
* Hit Safety Stock tool metrics to maintain a 100% rating

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree
* 3+ Years of Supply Chain experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain concepts and parts flow
* Effective leadership skills
* Strong SAP Skills
* Effective at developing and using standardized work
* Technical/Product Knowledge: Supply Chain Management, Knowledge of Industry Standards
* WCM ( World Class Manufacturing) Knowledge: Focus on Logistics and Customer Service
* Understanding of lean concepts
* Understands and employs basic change management methodology.
* Uses logic and problem-solving tools to develop plans to meet targets and look forward to proactively and to prioritize. Can lead conversations with suppliers in a proactive, productive manner. Use of Google Tools (Google: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms & Drawings).
