JOB PURPOSE
We are currently looking for a driven, experienced Facilities Sales Representative to help us continue to grow our Facility Solutions Business in the Fresno-South and Central Valley market! The Sales Representative-Facility Solutions leads the implementation of Veritivs Go-to-Market strategy by calling on and developing new business with top level contacts as well as growing a current portfolio of business. This role requires unique insight in applying Veritiv solutions to existing and new customers. As a member of the Veritiv team, you champion the innovative power of our products to make organizations more productive, help shape their success and take on new opportunities. The Sales Representative will sell company products within a designated geography or industry. Requirements include meeting established sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Also demonstrating solid knowledge of products, their characteristics, and market.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation of Veritivs Go-to-Market strategy
* Daily use of CRM (Salesforce Lightening) to manage and grow territory
* Presents the Advisor positioning on a constant basis to current and perspective clients to help transform the position of Veritiv as a differentiated value added supplier
* Maintain established book of business
* Open new accounts by actively prospecting (cold calling / phone / email) and maintaining a well-qualified list of leads within Salesforce.com
* Utilizes training and communication techniques in order to execute the strategies, tactics and tools provided
* Assist clients with identifying opportunities to improve productivity in cleaning and reducing waste
* Call on and meet with high level contacts while at the same time managing and building relationships with the cleaning, sanitation and maintenance staff
* Collaborate with local Sales Reps and Managers in the Packaging and Print segments to develop a cross selling strategy
* Drive sales of Reliable Private Brand and Platinum & Preferred suppliers to improve profitability and customer satisfaction
* Partner with our preferred suppliers in an effort to drive sales and improve supplier support
* Present equipment as necessary as part of the Manufacturing LEAN Advisor strategy and to ensure all clients source their equipment needs with Veritiv.
Qualifications
* Ability to effectively work remotely from the field and a home office
* Proficient with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred) Microsoft Office/Outlook
* Applicant must be able to scan and email quotes, build quotes, manage credit, inventory, and pricing files, report activities to Sales Management, conduct daily sales report analysis, margin maintenance and forecasting
* A competitive nature with an established track record in creating a portfolio of newly developed clients
* Ability to interact effectively with a large number of internal and external customers, showing flexibility in meeting their individual needs
* Professional, articulate and strong presentation skills
* Understanding of finance and basic budget setting processes
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Must be able to get to and from sales calls
Required Education and Experience
* 3+ years demonstrated successful experience in territory sales desired
* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
