Job Summary:
The Coordinator provides support to the Lucasfilm and National Geographic hardlines licensing team in their management of a variety of product categories and a portfolio of licensees in order to meet or exceed predetermined revenue targets and growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the point person for cross-category requests (i.e. PR and communications product/marketing requests, licensee lists, recap decks, etc.) and deploying franchise and marketing updates to licensees
* Partner closely with licensing category leads on the creation of internal and external presentations including line reviews and licensee and retail pitches
* Assist the franchise lead with marketing activations and licensee coordination
* Manage the input of contract deal points and amendments into internal systems
* Compile and maintain accuracy of informational library/tools including licensee lists, product (sku) portfolio, franchise recaps (external), franchise plans (internal), etc.
* Create and present 1-2 category opportunity projects; overview of category, market sizing, key players, and recommendation.
* Assist with the preparation of internal meetings, road shows, and events
* Assist the category team with day to day business needs
* Sample management
Basic Qualifications:
* Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, project management, and follow-through with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
* Critical thinker, proactive, dependable, resourceful, flexible, detail oriented
* Confident, but able to ask for assistance when uncertain
* Outstanding written and oral communication skills as well as solid presentation skills
* Collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and work across multiple partners to complete tasks
* Proficient in key applications including Excel, Power Point, Word, and Keynote
* Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company brand and its businesses
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of related experience
* Previous experience in a closely related field
