Responsibilities:
As a member of a dynamic Technical Writing and Communication team, the Technical Writer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

* Write and edit software and hardware documentation for external audiences, including:
* Deployment Guides, User Guides, Datasheets, Technical Notes, Reference Material, Technical Overviews, Release Notes, Release Announcements, Installation Guides, Troubleshooting, and Emergency Procedures, How To Guides, UI & UX Text, among others.
* Interview SMEs as required to gather necessary information for documents.
* Receive and incorporate feedback from QA, R&D, Tech Support, Product Management, and PSO.
* Proof-read existing documents for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and style sheet adherence.
* Revise current documentation as information and configuration changes occur.
* Manage the company documentation backlog
* Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
* Write effectively for both highly technical (engineers, system administrators) and non-technical (end-users) audiences.
* Conduct the research necessary to complete required tasks
* Adapt to changing technical publication priorities
* Meet rigorous deadlines
* Obtain and present graphics within strict accuracy and format requirements
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work with geographically distributed team members and developers

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* 3+ years of technical writing experience including:
* Experience with publishing software including: Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker structured/non-structured, Adobe InDesign
* Experience in writing software and hardware installation & deployment procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Online documentation platforms
* DITA
* Topic-Based Authoring
* Experience with Adobe Robohelp, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Sharepoint, Teams, Snagit (or other photo imaging software)
