MuleSoft is looking for a well-rounded, detail-driven marketer with a can do attitude, who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. As the Regional Industry Product Marketer for AMER, you are helping to drive go-to-market strategy by activating strategic Industry plays and supporting Field Marketing in delivering integrated industry marketing programs. You are part of a world-class Product Marketing (PMM) team and will develop and localize industry messaging and positioning, campaigns, events, and sales plays. You create and tell inspirational stories bridging business and technology narratives. You measure success by our ability to mature deals to closure through these marketing programs.
In this role, you will think strategically and execute with a purpose in an exciting and dynamic technology space. The perfect candidate has the ability to work collaboratively and deliver results in a matrixed environment and enjoys interacting cross functionally. Successful candidates will have a passion for numbers, will be data driven and loves taking the complex and making it simple.
Responsibilities
* Drive the Regional Industry Product Marketing function in AMER, with the goal to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth aligned to annual targets
* Partner and collaborate with our Global Industry Strategy & PMM team, local Field Marketing , Field leaders (sales and marketing), and Salesforce counterparts to create and deliver high impact regionalized industry marketing programs and initiatives
* Act regionally to ensure content development, creative and global industry plans are optimized for local marketing
* Execute programs from planning through delivery to achieve marketing pipeline against the strategic Industry plays for both net-new and add-on business
* Build and manage a bench of Industry Subject Matter Experts in Region to support in-cycle deals and to support delivery & activation of Industry GTM
* Foster and support internal Industry Communities for the strategic global industries
* Work with Sales Strategy & Enablement to educate sales and the field teams on industry marketing programs
* Highly focused on optimizing industry marketing programs using metrics and data including but not limited to lead volume and conversion, program pipeline, velocity in funnel metrics, opportunity conversion
Experience/Skills required:
* 7+ years in marketing, preferably B2B marketing for an enterprise SaaS product with experience in content creation, public speaking, and GTM strategy & regional PMM
* Strong communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to develop and deliver effective marketing materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
* Ability to succeed in a highly de-centralized matrix organisation; ability to influence extended teams without formal line-reporting authority
* Ability to develop and deliver effective sales training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
* Customer service oriented in engaging and supporting the Field team,
* Experience with analytics, CRM, Salesforce preferred
* Experience in dealing with senior leaders plus good networking skills
* Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects
* Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and crafting compelling positioning, thought leadership content and sales assets
* Willing to travel to support on-going activities and key opportunities (currently not predictable/pending on COVID-19)
30 days:
* Develop a good understanding of the organization

* Develop a good understanding of our core positioning and messages
60 days:
* Master our internal processes with little supervision including expenses, budget, planning, and reporting
* Develop a good understanding of our Industry GTM strategy and priority plays and starting to recommend how each should be localized to be effective in region
* Develop a good understanding of our existing customer base
* Develop a good understanding of our existing partner ecosystem (VAR, SI, GSI, ISV)
* Shadow and support execution of marketing programs
* Start formulating your plan for Q2 and H2
90 days:
* Start executing independently campaigns and activities, including delivering several milestone projects
* Have your next 3-6 months of plans developer
* Establish your own personal brand and cadence
