This position supports multiple locations and/or large plant with transport operations, is responsible for organizing, tracking and reporting the fleet operations workstream, this includes GPS, INFOR, Tableau, Share Point and cost/productivity initiatives. This position reports to the Area Fleet Manager and will support location and market-level projects and communications. This person must be willing to travel 15% of the time and commute to multiple locations on a weekly basis.
Primary Job Accountabilities:
* Track and report on daily fleet cost and measurable operational KPIs
* Ensure INFOR data integrity
* Meet internal customers expectations
* Maintain records including but not limited to safety, DOT, environmental and vehicle files
* Support and execute on customer needs
* Execute track and train required annual fleet training
* Direct workflow and productivity for front line technicians
* Work with fleet technicians to develop skills
* Time management skills
* Exceptional cross-functional communication skills
* Ability to translate large data to actionable work
Qualifications/Requirements
* At least 18 years of age
* 21 years or older if CDL Required
* Pass the drug test
* Pass the background check
* Valid CDL license (if required)
* Be proficient in excel, INFOR and various web-based databases
Helpful Experience:
* Understanding the basic mechanical operation
* Up to date training certificates working with current industry standards and the latest technology
* Strong people skills and the ability to coach
* Project management
* Good organizational skills
