Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our Rancho Bernardo Campus in San Diego, CA. You will be working closely with the entire security team within the risk management framework (RMF) to obtain authorization for, and maintain, Information Systems. Our work is mission critical and directly contributes to national security.

As part of the Security Team, you are responsible for implementing, operating, and monitoring security requirements both technical and administrative on classified systems.

Responsibilities include:

* Creating, submitting and maintaining authorization and accreditation packages for classified information systems.

* Serve as an advisor to the ISSM, management, your team and your co-workers for all security topics regarding the information systems in your area of responsibility.

* Interface and coordinate Security efforts with Industrial Security, IT, Program Management and Operations in an exciting, cutting edge environment.

* Develop, implement, maintain and monitor systems to safeguard information systems amp; data from external and internal threats.

* Work closely with government, customer and company peers to test and review information systems to ensure the highest levels of security for systems and information you protect.

* Participate in the Cyber Security education and awareness of your colleagues to ensure an engaged workforce that will be the eyes and ears you need to maintain a world class security organization.

The successful candidate will establish an inclusive culture within a diverse environment. You will need to be available for occasional after hours assistance. Limited travel within the continental United States may be required.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Master's degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience; OR an Associates degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience is required.

* Must have a DoD 8570 IAM level I security certification (example: Security+ CE); OR must have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of start date

* Candidates must have a current DOD Secret security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

* The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors' degree in Cyber Security, a current Security+ certification, and 3 years of ISSO experience executing RMF assessments in a DCSA cognizant classified environment

* Knowledge of RMF, ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA amp;Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and DCSA security package development are highly desirable

* Current Top Secret clearance is preferred
