Job Summary
As a Marketing Programs Manager, you work individually and as part of a new, dynamic PMO (Project Management Office). This team is focused on creating global scalable processes that improve our marketing and cross-functional workflows and outcomes. The primary intent of the role is to support the global teams by helping with operational processes, activations against our highest priority work and program management and execution. In addition to building operational processes, this role is responsible for managing programs such as launches, announcements, partnerships or events that align to the overall business objectives.
For our product & solution launches, this role would own the coordination and cross-functional execution. As the end-to-end launch owner, this position will oversee the implementation, and ongoing execution of product, solution and service launches.
This role requires a strong tactical marketing background combined with strategic planning. The ideal candidate has a high attention to detail in planning and prioritization, willingness to jump in and own complex projects and ability to execute and drive a set of programs and initiatives across stakeholders. Successful Marketing Program Managers are collaborative, innovative problem solvers and passionate about empowering teams to do their best work.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate successfully managing multiple marketing activities simultaneously, meet aggressive goals and short timeframes and help coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally across Marketing to develop execution plans, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders and influencers.
Responsible for monitoring and communicating decisions on marketing requests across the company
Own the end-to-end coordination and execution for product and/or service launches
Manage all launch deliverables and timeline to ensure successful outcomes
Coordinate with all relevant cross-functional teams (e.g. brand, product marketing, digital, demand gen, geo, channel, learning services, etc.) to ensure all deliverables and activities meet launch objectives and timeline
Prepare regular reports on the quality and completion of team projects & programs
Support improvements of our project management tool and associated processes
Ensure accountability against key performance indicators
Pay strong attention to detail, follow through, and multi-tasking
Develop presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and leadership level project communications and documentation
Provide project status information on a regular basis by tracking, monitoring and communicating progress against project plans and requirements
Representing your programs(s) to the larger Marketing Organization
Manage projects as assigned
Job Requirements
* 5+ years of marketing project or program management experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience in project and program management of cross-functional initiatives
Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into relevant program/project structure
Ability to independently draft and present project deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies
Data analytics experience
Experience with Jira is a plus
Education
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years and a Master's degree or A PhD without experience or Equivalent work experience.
