General Job description:

This candidate must be willing and able to stand on their feet for long periods of time and work flexible hours.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for personal safety and participate in plant safety process.

Maintain a clean and efficient work area.

Troubleshoot and report machine malfunctions.

Inspect doctor blades prior to each production run and throughout the shift, and changed as needed.

Perform proper and efficient changeovers, including inks and cylinders in the correct units, correct amount of ink, recycling ink, and clean water.

Use the correct settings on the press, including pressures, cylinder setup, and inks in the correct units.

Prevent defects through the press.

Follow setup and run procedures, safety and quality procedures as documented.

Assist with washing cylinders in the sonic washer.

Store all cylinders in their proper location.

Prepare new cylinders as needed.

Must be willing and able to stand for long periods of time and work flexible hours.

Operate fork truck and manual AGV as needed.

Operate hoist and overhead crane.

Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning.

Complete all documentation accurately.

Job rotation and relief of team members as needed.
