The WCB Controls & Compliance (C&C) team provides compliance leadership, training, and monitoring in support of managements responsibility to mitigate risks, supporting the Microsoft Worldwide Commercial Business. We work closely with the business and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate financial and corruption related risks, and improve processes through compliance by design.

This role is on point to help ensure that Microsoft has effective controls and monitoring procedures for commercial partner investments, including custom incentive deals and programs. In addition, it will also support the Microsoft Solutions organization driving the compliance ROB, and providing compliance leadership around all areas of that business.

The position will partner closely with several groups including Global Partner Solutions (GPS), Microsoft Solutions, Operations, GSMO field and CELA. The successful candidate will have an understanding of Microsoft's partner ecosystem and Solution Areas, along with experience in monitoring compliance risk, driving mitigation activities and keeping stakeholders informed.

Global Partner Solutions - Incentives & Investments

* Compliance lead for the Global Partner Solutions custom deals
* Drive continuous improvement and compliance oversight of custom incentive constructs and individual deals.
* Provide compliance input at the weekly Partner Investment Review (PIR).
* Work with the GPS Incentives & Investments team to develop an expansive intake process for custom deals. Coordinate with the strategic ventures team.
* Keep all stakeholders aware of compliance policy as it relates to custom incentives/investments, provide training as needed.
* Evaluate and update incentive control standards relating to custom incentives.
* Coordinate with Subsidiary Control Assessment (SCA) testing for local campaigns. Drive follow up actions/training and monitor internal audit remediation efforts where necessary.

Microsoft Solutions

As Compliance lead for Microsoft Solutions organization

* Lead Compliance Governance and ROB
* Provide Compliance oversight of the Internet of Things 'IOT' business and new programs developed by the Solutions business
* Compliance SME for Azure Credit Offer 'ACO', including providing input on ACO policy and processes, and review of non standard ACO requests.
* 6+ years' work experience in a Finance or Compliance role, preferably in a large multinational company
* Experience in Governance, Compliance & Risk Management, including experience designing and implementing risk and control frameworks
* Strong cross group collaboration skills., including the ability to influence and impact without authority at all levels of an organization.
* Proven expertise around process excellence including the ability to partner with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions. Includes the ability to critically challenge the status quo.
* Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and simplify.
* Strong project management skills, and success leading large, complex projects.
* Positive, creative, can-do attitude with strong analytical and strategic thinking.
* Excellent communication skills: oral, written and interpersonal skills.
* BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics. CPA/CA/CIA/CFE is preferred
