The Cloud Marketing Business Planning team is looking for a talented individual to drive the strategy and integration of our business models into the Azure sales methodology. This individual will play a critical role in looking holistically across the Azure business to increase our sales agility while sustaining our business strategy, identify and propose opportunities to remove competitive blockers, and evolve how we negotiate to grow market share.
In this role, you will work across the organization to develop and evolve how we enable our sales and licensing teams to negotiate and win business against the competition. You will be the subject matter expert on our offers and empowerment strategy and drive new approaches to ensure we are enabling the right teams to compete with agility and maximize global revenue.
* Drive business models and strategy into the Azure sales and licensing teams.
* Leverage data and insights to propose new solutions to address competitive motions.
* Partner closely with business planning, finance, the business desk, and sales to streamline our deal-making agility.
* Lead the integration of new offers and strategies into sales processes to maximize their impact and utilization.
* Own end-to-end business case proposals for advancing how we empower the Azure business.
This position requires excellent leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills along with a track record of delivering exceptional results. Strong communication skills are critical to success in this role with knowledge or experience in business planning or sales.
Preferred qualifications include 5-10 years of industry experience in marketing, business development, or sales as well as a BS/BA degree (required) and MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
