Director, IT GRC Control Consultation will build, oversee, and manage IT GRC Control Consultation services.

The IT GRC Control Consultation group is responsible for working directly with IT practitioners to provide guidance on navigating the SDLC, IT compliance control framework, and audit/inspection readiness.

This role will be an active member of the IT GRC Leadership team, be closely involved in implementing the strategic roadmap of IT GRC, and will be primarily responsible for working closely with ITRMS risk liaisons on service engagement.

Responsible for managing an organization of 10 colleagues and associated budget management requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversees and is accountable for the delivery of the IT GRC IT Control Consultation services

Reports to Executive Director, ITGRC

Engages directly with IT division leadership to coordinate service demand and customer support needs

Works closely with ITRMS risk liaisons to coordinate service engagement

Continuously monitors the status and performance of each of the services

Works with IT leadership and IT GRC Strategy & Governance to identify areas of improvement with service delivery and/or how IT practitioners can improve how they manage risk

Drive accountability within the IT Compliance organization by maintaining scorecards and dashboards that highlight the key areas of the services

Interpret demand insights from operations excellence in order to provide resources with the right capabilities to fulfill the demand

Responsible for monitoring performance against strategy and aligning staff with the IT GRC strategy

Has service Budget & HR accountability for their service area and team members

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree

10+ years working in the Life Sciences Industry

IT Risk and Compliance Management

Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle controls

Demonstrates a service-oriented leadership style

Knowledge of lean and risk-based process and service attributes

Broad-based knowledge of industry-leading practices for IT risk and compliance

Demonstrates an executive presence through good communication and professionalism

Demand, Resource, and Forecast management capabilities

Service finance and budget management

Nice to Have:

Professional services consulting experience

Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies

Understanding of emerging technology (e.g. Cloud, AI, RPA, etc.)

Understanding of enterprise IT risk domains (e.g. Privacy, security, GxP)
