Qualcomm's GPU Team is responsible for the development of end to end and system on chip (SOC) architectural solutions for next generation of graphics processing units (GPUs) and compute devices. The Performance and Power team develops the necessary models and tools required to analyze the power and performance of these next gen architectures at various stages of development.
The responsibilities will include:
* Working with Graphics Benchmark vendors to optimize benchmarks for Adreno architecture before their public release
* Analysis of Mobile games to identify typical and/or inefficient portions to be studied in pre-Si for improvement of Adreno architecture
* Pursue pre-Si enablement of these workloads which includes driving functional enablement on HLM, driver/compiler optimizations
* DX Benchmark signoff for Q2/Q3
* Communication with Microsoft on benchmark perf
* Competitive analysis vs AMD/Intel
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience with ASIC design and system performance
* 5+ years of experience with graphics benchmarking
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* 2+ years relevant GPU experience (either external or internal).
* 2+ years of experience with Graphics and Compute Workloads
* 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
* 1+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports
