As a Facilities Engineer, Sr. you will perform project and construction management of new, expanded, and refurbished facilities, as well as the install of new equipment and machinery. In this role, you will collaborate with design engineers to ensure constructability of new projects. In addition, you will:
Oversee all aspects and disciplines of work during design through construction/assembly to ensure adherence to construction standards for new buildings, refurbishments, and build outs
Ensure compliance with the detailed project design and technical specifications for equipment and machinery.
Manage the contractor to ensure adherence to contractual requirements including quality, scope, cost, and schedule.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure applicable notifications and permits are obtained regarding environmental, safety, and health issues.
Attend project stakeholder meetings to provide update to leadership and customers.
Coordinate and obtain utility shutdowns as necessary to support construction and project activity.
Coordinate with contractor and site security to obtain site access for contractor personnel.
Manage and verify accuracy of all contractor invoices; ensure contractor provides all project closeout documentation including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
Construction engineering and project management experience with large factory and infrastructure related projects.
Project management experience
Desired Skills:
Strong familiarity with the Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) process and associated requirements.
Mechanical Engineering background preferred
Construction experience on active flight line or airfield and GOCO sites.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong familiarity with FOD critical areas, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) Whole Building Design Guides(WBDG), and Occupational Safety & Health Administration(OSHA).
Understanding of Technical Evaluations of budgetary estimates, hard-bid estimates, and Rough Order Magnitude estimates (ROMs).
Experience and understanding of the development of Statement of Work (SOWs), Technical Statement of Work (TSOWs) and Project Requirements.
Experience and understanding to guide and assist in the development of Microsoft Project Schedules (MS Project) as well as Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
