The Global Sustainment (GS) Training & Logistics Solutions (TLS) Dahlgren Operations Site Integration Manager is responsible for partnering with the Training and Simulations Solutions (TSS) Portfolio Leadership Team, to ensure PMO and customer satisfaction of required sustainment deliverables and support services. In addition, the lead will be responsible for the Dahlgren Operations facility and the Strategic Long Range Plan goals. The successful candidate will work closely with the TSS market segment and include developing and executing the strategy for products and services ensuring program requirements across all sustainment elements are achieved; perform program/project planning and management (including cost, schedule and risk management) to ensure achievement of desired performance outcomes.
This Manager position will be responsible for:
Leading a diverse team of RMS Services personnel in providing services to customers in Dahlgren supporting both Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) and the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS).
Providing Functional Support to RMS Programs including managing the functional organization, providing resources to leverage the RMS Services and RMS Global Sustainment organizations
Participating in supporting RMS Program proposals. Support opportunity identification.
Maintaining RMS Dahlgren Facility operations while coordinating facility requirements with the Director RMS Facilities.
Develop successful relationships with the local Dahlgren contracting communities and NSWCDD leadership.
Develop the inputs and successfully implement the RMS Services Dahlgren LRP.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experienced manager with 8+ years of experience managing a diverse workforce
- Significant experience supporting USN and International Aegis Training Programs (curriculum development through execution)
- Proven ability to develop positive relationships with both internal and external customers
- Proven ability to work successfully in a virtual and matrix organization
- Strong Communication skills
- Proven ability to interface/present with all levels and across LOBs and functions
- Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems
- Experience in new business capture, start-up, and execution
