The Human Resources Market Business Partner (HRMBP) serves as a strategic leader, with HR expertise. This role is responsible for providing HR leadership and executing the HR strategy at the Market level. This role works directly with HR departments to assure that fundamental HR initiatives are in place and they support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
This position provides strategic leadership by coordinating the HR Market functions in a standardized manner. This position provides sound guidance and operationally sound HR direction. This role will serve as the Market HR Leader and will oversee the activities of all HR services in the Market. He/she operates independently to ensure objectivity and fairness for employees while supporting the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the company. This role will assign and implement company initiatives, policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Human Resources.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills
Certifications:
PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
Minimum Work Experience
Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive HR leadership experience required
With a concentration on Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Training and Development and Compensation Management required
Previous HR Director experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
Required Skills
Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment law, CMS, OSHA and TJC regulatory compliance. Travel required approx. 50% of the time between hospitals that make up the Sovah Market.
