The Frye Heart Center is partnered with the Duke Heart Network and is the only Duke Heart affiliate in Western North Carolina. Frye is the regions only comprehensive heart center performing more than 6750 heart procedures each year including open heart surgery. Frye is a Chest Pain Center with accredited PCI, offering 24/7 interventional cardiology with an experienced network of physician specialists and cardiovascular providers. As a nursing professional there are various areas of opportunity to bring your expertise and join our nursing team.

New Grad RNs:

Frye Regional Medical Center is offering a specialized orientation process for new graduate RNs. The program is designed to ease new graduates into a hospital setting.

* Instructor led courses which are based on the latest evidence based practice
* Personalized clinical training from experienced preceptors
* Debriefing sessions where participants exchange experiences obtained at the bedside
* Personal support and professional guidance provided by an assigned mentor
* A liaison (Clinical Nurse Educator) who will navigate the RN Resident through on-boarding and transition phases
* Weekly 1 on 1 check-ins with Nurse Manager

Other Information

Applicants who are selected will begin work after they receive their RN License. The application process is highly competitive and recruiters will contact the most qualified candidates, so be sure to include any relevant coursework or training in a concise professional rsum.

We are hiring new grad RNs to nearly every department including: Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency Department, Oncology, Operating Room, Intermediate Cardiac Step Down, Neuro-Progressive Care Unit, and several other departments.

All RNs hired, will be offered full-time employment. You will be eligible for benefits a month after your 30th day.

* BLS preferred
