Central Carolina Hospital
Central Carolina Hospital, along with Duke LifePoint are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to work in our 8 bed Intensive Care Unit. With more than 120 physicians and more than 600 employees, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties. Central Carolina Hospital is nestled in the heart of central North Carolina and is located only 40 minutes southwest of Raleigh, the state capitol, and just 40 minutes from the gates of Fort Bragg Military base. Our facility will allow you to use, sharpen and add to your nursing skills without having to commute to a large city environment.
As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be seeing, treating, and providing quality care to the patients of our community ranging from infancy to geriatric. These patients may suffer from croup, asthma, pneumonia, COPD, and respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation. You may also encounter patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, and kidney disease requiring Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). Septic patients are not uncommon in the ICU as well. We do it all!!
Job Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current NC orcompact state RN license
* ICU experience is PREFERRED
* Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, ability to makequick sound decisions,
* CPR certification required and provided, ACLS, PALS required, TNVVis recommended
