Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Risks and Controls to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities:

* Accountable for supporting day-to-day execution of risks and controls projects in line with Data Strategy & Operations strategic objectives
* Work collaboratively with the project team by providing coordination with all parties involved and support throughout the self-assessment process
* Facilitate and review the completion of quality checks with various internal Data Strategy & Operations processes and tools and report on status, including the development of audit programs, working papers, and remediation reports; coordinate and track remediation efforts and completion
* Interact with all members of the Risks and Controls team to help ensure the information flow is efficient
* Support development and delivery of training related to risks and controls operations
* Develop tools, guidelines, metrics, KPIs and playbooks for operational controls testing including controls self-assessments and remediation plans

Qualifications:

* Minimum three years of experience within a professional services firm or similar environment
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
* Experience working with risks and controls testing; strong knowledge on risks and controls and controls program operations
* Ability to follow documented processes and work with minimal supervision; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
* Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
* US Citizenship is required
