Director, M&A IT Due Diligence

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Director in M&A Services for our KPMG Strategy practice.

Responsibilities:

* Serving as a key advisor and direct enterprise-wide Information Technology Strategy Analysis, M&A Due Diligence, and Projects; oversee execution of related deliverables
* Help lead business development initiatives focused on IT and Business Technology Strategy including targeting key C- level individuals, proposing our services and closing opportunities
* Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing strategic IT roadmaps, manage key engagement interviews/research, and facilitate workshops
* Act as the primary IT team interface with various levels of client executives up to and including C-Level
* Manage the presentation of final project deliverables and advise persuasively, earning the position of a trusted advisor
* Participate in professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the recruiting and training of new staff

Qualifications:

* A minimum of eight years of specialized M&A Technology/IT Due Diligence consulting experience in a client-facing strategy and IT role

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master's degree in Information Technology from an accredited college/university is preferred
* Experience in at least one of the following strategy consulting areas from an Information Technology perspective: transaction and business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience
* Strong Information Technology and business acumen, with analytical and problem solving skills; ability to understand how IT and business model decisions impact the IT operating model design/execution as it relates to operations, internal and external facing technology, risk governance and organizational design
* Comfort with ambiguity and fluid client situations, travel may be up to 80-100%
* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
