The Technology Audit Subject Matter Expert (SME) Team, reporting to the Technology Risk Category Owner/SME, serves as the principal repository and source of expertise for all aspects of technology risk and methodology with particular focus on the multiple technology organizations within JPMorgan Chase. These include those that serve business lines as well as Cybersecurity & Technology Controls (CTC), Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI), Chief Technology Office (CTO) and Corporate Technology (CT). The SME team drives the technology coverage strategy across Audit Teams; monitoring coverage and working closely with the Chief Technology Auditor to represent results and thematic Firmwide technology risk. This is presented to stakeholders, including the Audit Operating Committee (AOC) and Global Technology Audit Leadership Team, and at executive levels up to and including the Board Audit Committee. The team also leads an emerging technology risk program aimed at monitoring leading-edge technology advances and usage within the firm including areas such as quantum computing, machine learning, robotics, augmented reality, Internet of Things, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. In partnership with LOB auditors, the SME Team leads Audit interactions with regulators in technology matters, including coordination of Audit-related requests/responses to regulatory inspections.
JPMorgan Chase Internal Audit seeks an Audit Director (Executive Director), to join the Technology SME Team reporting to the Technology SME Audit Senior Director to help execute the SME Program.
Responsibilities include:
* Oversight and quality control for technology audit annual planning processes including universe identification, universe item risk assessment, audit plan comprehensiveness, technology risk coverage strategy, and leading technology skills assessment processes to ensure sufficient expertise across the Audit Department.
* Coordination and oversight for technology audit coverage including the maintenance of technology risk assessment matrices, proactive identification and escalation of themes, and co-ordination of the production of annual technology audit domain assessments and stakeholder summaries.
* Management of the Audit Emerging Technology Risk Program and support for Technology Audit Working Groups covering areas such as Cloud, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity.
* Lead regulatory engagement for technology risk, responding with a sense of urgency to both planned and emerging regulatory requests, sharing regulatory themes within Audit and staying up-to-date with evolving industry/regulatory changes impacting the business whilst championing a culture of innovation.
* Influence technology audit methodology and operating processes across the Audit Department.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of internal or external auditing experience, or relevant technology experience
* Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience) required
* CISA, CISSP, and/or Advanced Degree in Finance or Technology is preferred
* Highly structured/organized thinker with strong program/project management skills with extreme attention to detail
* Knowledge of applicable global laws and regulatory requirements related to technology, together with proven experience working with global regulators
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to establish credible and strong partnerships with senior business and control partners
* Strong analytical skills and out of the box thinking with a demonstrated focus on continual innovation
* Proven ability to multi task as well as assess and change priorities
