Our Product Enablement Solutions Group (PESG) is looking for a Design Automation Engineer. In this role, your primary responsibility is to develop, deploy, and support layout verification(LV) flows and automation to one or more System on Chip (SoC) projects. You will be the point-of-contact liaison to the project representing the wider PESG organization. Your job will be to engage with project teams to develop, validate, and deliver LV flow releases to the project and drive resolution to any related issues identified by the project teams. On an ongoing basis, you'll attend the project and PESG coordination meetings, monitor support and development for this project, and drive traction to make sure the project is getting all of its LV flow requirements. Our PESG team enables LV solutions for a wide group of process technologies across multiple business units, automation flows, external tool suppliers, and across worldwide Intel sites.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience, or a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

Your experience should be in the following:

* VLSI focus

* Breadth of understanding of the back end digital design tools and flows

* Working with remote teams

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Synopsys ICValidator vendor tool

* Experience with Mentor Calibre vendor tool

* Sign off flows

* Software skills
