* Manage and develop staff in an effective manner to promote individual development, improve retention, and ensure success in a team environment. Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.n
* Set direction for the team in proactively establishing controls and ensure system is secure and meets policy and regulatory requirements during development.n
* Proactively identify and improve parts of the delivery system to produce results. Spread knowledge and inspire change across the development value stream (between teams, between programs).n
* Work with entire value stream to help build a product mentality. Introduce and mentor teams on product development techniques, such as building feedback into the product or process, that help the team build the right thing.n
* Lead, design and communicate Lean, Product, and Tech concepts to business partners and get consensus. Communicate issues early to help course-correct. Communicate and work effectively through cross-team dependencies.n
* Know the latest industry trends. Nurture external contacts and peer group interaction. Advise business partners on future technical trends/directions to meet business strategy initiatives.nn

Qualificationsn

Weu2019re looking for someone with:

* Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 6+ years related work experience or equivalent experiencen
* Formal leadership experiencen
* Asset management or financial services industry experience n
* Experience managing agile software/application development projectsn
* Excellent leadership, problem solving, analytical, and decision making skills are requiredn
* Strong oral and written communication skills are vitaln
* Must have the desire to learn new technology and continuously grownn

Additional preferred technical experience:

* Relationship management experience with 3rd party vendorsn
* DevOpsn
* Cloud platforms (we use AWS)nn
