Responsibilities: Creating digital media content: Proposes and executes a digital media strategy for building our audiences and engaging with them, including social media followers, newsletter subscribers, and website visitors Creates regular, frequent social media posts that are both institutionally appropriate as well as engaging and personable, and that support the organizations vision and identity Finds creative ways to design/edit/produce visuals to accompany social media posts and website content about research that may not lend itself easily to visual storytelling Ensures digital content is optimized for search engines and mobile devices Sources and selects compelling images from internal photo archives, public domain websites, stock agencies, etc. Makes updates to the website and creates fresh content that highlights our value Updates the intranet and works with the organizations internal communication specialists to create campaigns for the intranet to engage staff Engages diverse audiences in conversations across our media platforms Develops content and visual design of email newsletters.
