Job Summary
Murphy Oil Corporation is seeking a Remote-Operations Control (ROC) Operator to join our growing team! This new position will be vital in the day-to-day operations of Murphys central remote Command Center at our Houston office!
Responsibilities
The ROC operator is responsible for:
* Safe and consistent, 24/7 operations of all Eagle ford central facilities and well assets.
* Controls and monitors all facility activities and communicates and dispatches urgent matters as needed.
* Main point of contact between field personnel, management, safety, environmental, first responders, and engineering; ensuring safe, uninterrupted, and optimized business operations.
Qualifications/ Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Minimum 2 years experience with basic operational skills, Evin, Cygnet, Canary, Excel, Spotfire experience.
* Multi-tasking, communication, reporting.
* This position will work a 12-hour, 7/7 on/off shift consisting of both days and nights.
* ROC operators will work 1 week of days and 1 week of nights every other hitch.
* Some field training and travel will be required during the first weeks of hire.
