Overview:
The Senior, Learning and Leadership Design collaborates in the development of bar raising learning experiences that are 1) customer-centric, sustainable, and scalable, 2) reflect our values, behaviors, and priorities, and 3) measurably meet business and performance goals. The design senior will design, build, enhance, and maintain programs to build leadership capability and strengthen organizational culture to meet the company's business objectives. The design seniors main accountability is to develop empowered leaders who increase colleague engagement, leading to higher performance, retention, and job satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned.
This position can be based out of Cincinnati, OH or New York, NY.
Essential Functions:
* Be a student of the business and the industry. Demonstrate curiosity. Leverage internal and external thought leadership in both the business and learning fields to broaden your perspective and shape the learning solutions you develop.
* Lead the development of enterprise leadership programs and experiences to drive culture and performance in alignment with the Enterprise Talent Strategy. Develop innovative learning solutions at scale for all levels of the organization, and across all business functions.
* Enable cultural and behavioral change by understanding what motivates our learners across our varied business functions, and what helps them build skills over time.
* Partner with senior leaders across business functions in the identification and/or clarification of strategic objectives, diagnose performance needs, and recommend appropriate solutions to bridge gaps and achieve desired outcomes.
* Architect holistic learner journeys by connecting experiences, creating intentional moments, and threading ideas throughout designed solutions.
* Design virtual experiences, instructor-led classes, and on-demand resources that apply instructional design methods, adult learning theories, and curation best practices in a learner-centered design approach. Optimize the use of learning technologies that create efficiencies that help us scale (i.e. learning experience platforms).
* Leverage external network of industry peers and research to access industry best practices related to learning and the development of leaders.
* Ensure designed learning advances our diversity and inclusion priorities for our colleagues and customers.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
* Bachelors or equivalent with 7+ years of HR and Learning, Leadership strategy experience or a combination of the total.
Communication Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
* Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability:
* Must be able to work independently but under minimal supervision.
Physical Demands:
* This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment.
* May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
* Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Hours:
* Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
