L3Harris is seeking an entry level General Ledger Accountant in the L3Harris Integrated Mission Systems Segment Accounting Services Center. With centralized processing in Rockwall, Texas, this organization supports multiple business units across the United States by providing accounting, reporting and accounting systems services. Focused customer service and partnership with the business units are core cultural characteristics of the organization. The General Ledger Accountant will participate with the team in recording and reconciling accounting transactions for these businesses.
Essential Functions:
* Preparation of routine journal entries
* Preparation of general ledger account reconciliations
* Research of issues and proposal of corrective actions or transactions
* Review of transactions to ensure appropriate accounting treatment
* Support of internal and external audit requests
* Generation of reports from the ERP system
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 0- 2 years of relevant experience
* Experience in account reconciliations
* Knowledge / Exposure to SarbanesOxley (SOX) requirements
* Experience in ERP software a plus
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
