BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
Internal Audit independently assesses the firms internal control structure. We provide assurance that financial reporting is reliable, that there is compliance with applicable laws and regulations and that the firms operations are effectively controlled. We assist management in commercially managing risk by providing advice in developing control solutions and monitoring the implementation of managements control measures. IA assists the firms Board of Directors Audit Committee in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities and regularly interacts with the external independent auditors.
The IA Technology Strategy Office (TSO) drives the strategic vision for IA engineering and data analytics to enhance the auditor workflow through process reengineering and automation. We are a team of talented and passionate product managers and business analysts supporting technology and data analytics initiatives. We work closely with designers, engineers, and data scientists to help architect and develop technologies for IA.
