OVERVIEW

Shopper Marketing (SM) team members play a direct role in driving incremental volume at our Priority Retailers through design and execution of customer-centric, local-level marketing and event programs in partnership with our Brands, Sales Teams, and Retailers.

We are seeking a Shopper Marketing Senior Planner to lead account-specific shopper marketing strategy at HEB, a Strategic Growth Customer based in Texas. Key responsibilities for this role include development of annual strategy for priority brands across all 5 OUs, development of campaign/creative briefs, management of budgets, and execution of projects. It requires interaction with customers, as well as internal Sales and OU teams, and agencies. A unique aspect of this role is leading both Hispanic marketing initiatives and eCommerce initiatives at this customer. The role provides exposure and learning in the areas of Commerce, Strategy, Planning, External Partner Management, and Matrix Relationship Management.

Ideal location for this role is in TX (San Antonio or Austin) to be able to more easily call on HEB. Open to remote location for the right candidate.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Lead strategy and execution of General Mills retailer shopper marketing programs and tactics with internal and external groups
* Develop shopper marketing plans and presentations, with particular emphasis on Hispanic led insights and activations
* Oversee creative briefs, timelines, budgets, etc. in support of shopper campaigns
* Lead and participate in key customer meetings
* Foster strong working relationships with sales and marketing team members at both General Mills and our customers
* Maintain account level shopper marketing budget and approve invoices
* Conduct data/event analyses

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Business
* Minimum 2 years in Brand Experience, Brand Marketing, Sales or related
* History of collaboration with cross-functional teams, agency partners
* Project management expertise
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to work independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience in developing account specific marketing plans
* Experience selling to retail customers
* Experience with Hispanic marketing
* Familiarity with the South Texas market
