US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. We are seeking a Network Administrator that is able to work independently and provide routine desktop support - please read below!

Responsibilities:
* Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network problems.
* Provides network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
* Determines network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
* May provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced network engineers.
* Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
* Comprehensive knowledge of network engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
* Knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment.
* Participates in special projects as assigned.
* Travel throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations.
* This position may be required to travel to austere locations.

Required Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience required.
* BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
* Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
* Must possess a CCNA certification.
* Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.
* Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g. OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree Protocol, VXLAN, etc.)
* Knowledge and experience with VoIP/collaboration systems (e.g. SIP, SCCP, Call Manager, etc.)
* Knowledge and experience with HAIPE-based encryption devices (e.g. KG175, KG250, ISAKMP, ESP, etc.)
* Knowledge and experience with current Juniper JUNOS & Cisco IOS software and hardware features.
* Knowledge and experience with WAN accelerators. (e.g. Riverbed)
* Ability to configure and troubleshoot DMVPN and GRE tunnels.
* Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while still ensuring high quality of work.
* Highly organized with strong ability to prioritize work and work autonomously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Great attention to detail and presentation.
* Results driven, highly efficient, energetic and highly motivated.
* Must possess a high degree of intelligence, competence, maturity, adaptability, resilience, integrity and initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft
* Understanding of network virtualization.
* Knowledge and experience with data center networking.
* Experience with firewalls and firewall rule sets.
* Cisco ISE experience.

This position is supporting a fluid military missions. You may be required to travel to different operating locations within the NORTHCOM & SPACECOM AORs.

The work is typically performed at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

The likely salary range for this position is $53,248 - $79,872, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
