The IVI System Architect acts as single point of contact and Point Of View owner for the Enterprise Connectivity In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) sub system architecture. Coordinate and balance requirements for UI, sound, video and connectivity working closely with Research, Core SYNC and Core Audio design teams. Foster innovation develop system feature roadmap.
What youll be able to do:
* Electrical hardware and software sub-system design
* Translate program and product requirements into a scalable IVI vehicle enabling hardware and software platform
* Software/functional partitioning of features and products impacting multiple ECUs, screens and connectivity mechanisms
* Manage interface design and buildable combination strategy for SYNC, audio, displays, sound domain controller, VSP and ECG for infotainment features globally
* End to End design consideration of connected features and user experience impact
Minimum requirements we seek:
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
* Seven or more years of experience delivering OEM production projects with practical application of one or more of the follow: infotainment, audio, acoustics, driver information or camera systems
* At least three years of experience developing and leading a team
Our Preferred Requirements:
* Masters degree (prefer masters) in Electrical, Software or related engineering discipline
* Background in Electrical or Software Engineering with crossover knowledge
* Experience in system design impact on user experience
* Negotiation and collaboration skills across entrenched POV owners
* Deep analysis skills for complex build and interface combinations
* Cross functional team leadership, global team sensitivity
