What does a great Information Security Advisory role do at Fiserv?

Youll perform reporting and analysis on incidents and events within the data protection environment including, but not limited to, incidents from Symantec DLP. Youll be responsible for coordinating efforts with DLP engineering and critical issues for Cyber investigations. We need someone who can provide incident and policy analysis for existing controls and help drive expansion for greater data visibility and loss prevention technologies in the information security environment. You will work independently with internal associates and management on information security issues and reporting. Ultimately we need someone who has firm grasp on data loss protection concepts and incident analysis and relay findings as needed.

You are the kind of person who can:

Remediate DLP incidents and perform analysis of activity

Aid in policy tuning and provide relevant feedback to engineering

Discover patterns or trends of user activity to improve monitoring

Independently perform DLP investigations, and triage to the Cyber Security teams

Assess the environment, highlight gaps, and provide potential solutions to the appropriate audience

Work multi-functionally with team members as it relates to brainstorming, meetings, and devising new concepts for implementation.

Analyze data and provide intelligent summarizations

Understand of Risk and Security controls and mechanisms

Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills with experience in presenting information to groups, both technical and non-technical

Act in a highly ethical and act honorably, honestly, responsibly, and legally.

Weigh business needs against security concerns and eloquent issues to associates and management.

Demonstrate strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills.

Demonstrate prior experience with incident triage and escalation

Convey information concisely and effectively.

Manage time and priorities with multiple tasks/projects, able to prioritize when impromptu tasks arise

Demonstrate leadership qualities and skills, including independent decision-making abilities.

Work with other engineers and departments in a positive, goal-directed manner

Requirements for Consideration:

Bachelors Degree or high school diploma/GED

Minimum of 5 of related IT experience, preferably in a security related field such as an incident response team.

Preferred Qualifications For Consideration:

Experience with large scale global security applications

A solid grasp of Network and Endpoint Systems Scanning is a plus
