Machine Operator

As a Fiserv Machine Operator, you will join our team that utilizes machines to process insert chip technology secured cards. Machine Operators will set up, operate and program computer batches from an order ticket to load data. Operators perform quality checks, confirm quantity produced and ensure batches are accurate per job ticket. An excellent machine operator is reliable, flexible, and punctilious while adhering to safety standards. The overall goal of this role is to ensure that production procedures are carried out efficiently to maximize efficiency.

You can expect the following:
Setting up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
Controlling and adjusting machine settings per ticket.
Feeding raw material or parts into semi-automated machines.
Inspecting parts with precision and measuring tools.
Testing operation of machines periodically.
Resolving machine errors and issues that might occur while operating.
Maintaining activity logs related to daily secured card production.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but is not required.
Experience in a fast paced, high volume production environment and understanding of production concepts.
Mechanical aptitude a plus.
Deep knowledge of production operation.
Experience operating a computer workstation.
Working in a collaborative team environment to further company goals concerning efficiently, safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Flexibility with working in other areas on occasion.
Strong ability to multi task.

Physical Requirements:
Be able, as it is necessary-to climb, stretch, crouch or kneel.
Successful performance requires good vision including close vision for accurate attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk regularly for 95% of shift.
Uses hands to handle, finger, or feel objects and to perform keyboarding.
