Job Description:
The Role:
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Business Analyst will assist in partnering with key partners to influence strategic decision, roadmaps, requirements, execute delivering on strategic priorities. You will ensure alignment on the what and when working through ongoing planning and prioritization of the backlog.
* Build positive relationships between business and system teams
* Build executive summaries, workflow diagrams to visually represent business processes
* Identify problems in terms of business requirements and recommend modifications to the functional solution which could impact the system design
* Compile clear and concise business requirements using a flexible, iterative, and adaptable approach, emphasizing creative/ innovative strategies
* Assist Product Managers in collaborating with partners and technical resources to build user narratives and translate those narratives into features that can be built by the development team
* Track key business decisions and manage change control process; communicate impacts to delivery
* Assist in detailing business test strategy and test cases
* Support user testing and production parallel, verify and document test results and recommend solutions for any discrepancies
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
* BA/BS required
* 5+ years of business analysis experience preferably in investment compliance
* Experienced in Agile
* Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing (executive summaries) with technical and non-technical members of the project team
* Demonstrated experience and, well versed with respect to leading practices around initiative implementations
* Demonstrated knowledge of asset management or Compliance and the regulatory industry (focused experience in investment compliance preferred)
* Knowledge technology implementation
* Self-starter who can work independently and ability to thrive in fast pace environment and get results
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively
* Demonstrated experience of working on medium to large projects
* Demonstrated expertise with Agile
* Strong project management skill set
* Testing and/or implementation experience
* Strong compliance or trade/life cycle experience

History of Fidelity Investments
The Fidelity Fund was established in 1930, a year after the stock market crash of 1929 and before the Great Depression of 1933. The fund continued to operate until 1943 when it was acquired by Boston-based lawyer Edward C. Johnson II. At the time, the fund reported assets under management valued at $3 million. In 1946, Johnson II founded the Fidelity Management and Research Company, now Fidelity Investments, to serve as an investment advisor to the Fidelity Fund. When running the fund, Johnson’s objective was to buy stocks with a potential for growth, and not necessarily blue-chip stocks.
