Director, Product Management
Expedia Group is building the worlds Travel Platform. At the heart of this, we are building a conversational platform that automates the most challenging journeys and connects our traveler and supplier marketplace. Our Virtual Agents use AI to learn new capabilities and continuously improve through network effects. We are looking for a Director of Product Management with a scientific mindset and a passion for building extraordinary customer and developer experiences. This leader will be at the forefront of technology, helping to define Expedias next moonshot while pioneering a new interaction model. This position will primarily focus on Conversational Intelligence throughout the consumer journey to drive insights driven solution on the conversational platform.
What youll do:
* Create product vision and drive the roadmap, execution, and go to market strategy for a Portfolio or Program of products, projects, and initiatives
* Inspire, support and mentor a team to design innovative conversational experiences and automation for very manual customer and partner operations today
* Partner closely with engineering, UX, and business leaders to deliver solutions that satisfy customer experience, business, and technology goals
* Build scalable architecture allowing other teams to rapidly enable conversation features while maintaining overall conversation quality
* Define a set of success metrics to measure customer satisfaction and business impact and be able to utilize them in decision-making
* Use excellent judgment in prioritizing between focusing on existing versus new customers and between features, architectural improvements and operational excellence
* Stay on top of customer preferences, technology trends, and market demand
* Lead the organization through change, evolution, and growth; the right leader will evolve and scale the organization along with the business
Who you are:
* Significant and validated industry experience in leading product management teams
* Experience building Machine Learning / AI driven solutions at scale.
* Experience working with large Data and leveraging insights to drive a personalized rich experience.
* Experience in thinking, building, scaling platforms helpful.
* Previous success leading the complete roadmap development, ownership, and execution
* Experience driving a program which is a complex portfolio of Product, Tech/Engineering and Operations initiatives
* Prior management of five or more employees
* MBA preferred
