Summary: The control engineer is responsible for coordinating, directing and overseeing the completion of all field activities as they relate to the performance on the project including subcontractors and suppliers, in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and required safety elements in the robotics division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ability to understand and install Robotic Cells
2. Ability to wire 24-volt to 120-volt controls on a various pieces of equipment to fit the needs of the customer
3. Ability to wire up to 480-volt panel to create the standards required for the customers' needs
4. Troubleshoot, test, and commission robotics cell installations and autonomous vehicle installations
5. Understand and implement PLC Ladder-Logic style programming, i.e., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi
6. Understand and implement programs such as Ignition, SCADA, JSON, Python Programming
7. Properly address TCP/IP networks and other communication protocols in order to create multiple solutions
8. Analyze and correct cross-communication issues within programing and cells
9. Work efficiently to ensure project times and required processes are completed; document all work completion phases
10. Work on construction sites and follow all customer and company safety policies and practices

Education and/or Experience:

Associates degree in Computer Science or related field of study; OR two years related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Programming of industrial robotics and AutoCad preferred

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Ability to operate general shop equipment
