48 hours per bi-weekly pay period Part-time Benefited Under the immediate supervision of the Intake and Referral Team manager is responsible for providing telephone and face-to-face assessments, determining appropriate level of care needed and coordinating admissions, completing pre-authorization and paperwork related to the admission. May provide back-up by answering the phone and taking initial calls. Protects the confidentiality of the patient/therapist/physician relationship at all time. Availability for all shifts preferred.

Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:
Registration / Certification / Licensure: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or license eligible.
Obtain and maintain certification in required CPR
BCLS within 60 days of hire
Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training within six months of hire date
Experience:
Prior experience doing admissions for Behavioral Health patients preferred. Familiarity with in/outpatient psychiatric treatment and awareness of assessments across the age continuum. Knowledge of community resources preferred. Must have experience in computer systems and data entry; patient registration experienced preferred but not required.
Education:
Masters degree in human service field: Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
Job Knowledge & Skills:
Must have excellent communication and assessment skills. Good telephone etiquette and ability to communicate via the phone and in person. Good writing skills required.
Demonstrates strong working knowledge of psychiatric, admission and referral procedures.
Requires strong analytical and organization skills.
