We are The Ad Platform, an advertising delivery system that provides streamable assets to internet sites, as well as transcoded assets to linear television. We use state of the art technologies within a microservices architecture. We strive to achieve best practices and adhere to strict due diligence in our processes. Job Description
As an intern within our Development shop, you will be exposed to Agile process, UI/Middleware stack, and Java backend microservices stack. The candidate will also learn CI/CD processes, Git source control, unit testing, integration testing and automation testing.
Once the candidate is familiar with the development processes and overview, they will begin contributing to our microservices project.
Intern Roles & Responsibilities
- The candidate will be able to take small tasks and work them through the development process, while maintaining a high level of due diligence, such as dev testing and unit testing.
- The candidate will communicate professionally and with the utmost transparency
- The candidate will gain knowledge of the broadcast and digital advertising lifecycles
- The candidate will gain knowledge of basic video technology
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
