Role Overview

In this role you will:

* Plan inventory levels, replenishment strategies, and material forecasts for Material Planning to ensure balanced asset utilization and financials

* Work with Production/Engineering personnel in checking BOM accuracy and performing transactions against work orders in a timely manner

* Determine appropriate replenishment methodology (forecast, safety stock, ROP, etc) to support BU fill rate and inventory objectives

* Interface with sales, product management, engineering, quality, and other departments as necessary

* Ensure Material Master Files are monitored, maintained, and updated on a regular basis

* Monitor and resolve SAP Exception Notices on a daily basis

* Review Purchase Requisitions on a daily basis for accuracy and update metrics tracking statistics on aged requisitions

* Run and participate in Material Re-Qual and Material Planning meetings

* Create the Master Schedule for the Busch Drive site for all programs

* Maintain and update schedule progress and changes to schedule on a daily basis

* Work with Materials Management, Program Management, and Contracts to communicate progress/schedule status vs. contractual requirement

* Create and distribute weekly production schedule

* Work with Materials Management and Finance to move Master Schedule from MS Project into SAP

* Daily communication with Supervisors on status vs. schedule goals

* Perform Cycle Count support and audits

* Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety regulations and policies as well as attend required training courses related to Environmental Health and Safety

* Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelors degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

* In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

* Expert level experience with MS Suite (specifically MS Project and Excel)

* Demonstrated experience with ERP planning systems (specifically SAP)

* Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task in a fast paced environment and deliver product within a rigid timeline

* Must be a team player and also work well individually

* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work well at all areas and levels of the organization to include Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Program Management and Finance

* Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications (i.e. desired)

* Intermediate to High experience with SAP

* Experience with Continuous Improvement processes, 5S, Standard Work, Value Steam Mapping, etc.

* APICS Certification

* Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred

Working Environment

* Dynamic, fast paced environment

* 50/50 % time spent in office / production areas

* May experience eye strain from computer usage

* Very fluid environment, communicating in person with others regarding material status and in meetings working to resolve shortages and then, back in-office, to review and maintain work orders, release requisitions to support the master schedule and production plans. In daily discussions with business development and program managers providing status and checking with buyers and warehouse personnel as well as the accounting group.
