The Global Markets & Securities Services (M&SS;) franchise an approx. $18 billion business within Institutional Client Group (ICG) - is comprised of 7 main global products: Global Rates, Global FX, Global Markets Treasury, Global Markets Finance, Global Spread Products, Commodities and Equities & Securities Services. Each products include a variety of sub-products and regional dispersion.

The Cross Markets Planning and Actuals Lead is a part of the Markets & Securities Services FP&A; team that closely supports the M&SS; business heads, CFO, and other senior management such as ICG CFO. This role has the responsibility of leading and managing business performance tracking, financial analytics and forecasting and planning. This role will be working extensively with other product dedicated members in Markets & Securities Services FP&A; team as well as multiple stakeholders across Markets, Finance, Functions, Operations and Technology. The candidate for this role must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment without close supervision and with colleagues who may not be in the same geographic location.

Responsibilities:

Provides analysis and support on the long-term planning and short-term forecasting processes of Global M&SS; businesses primarily focused on expense analysis and identify key drivers of expenses as well as identify areas of opportunity to reduce expenses but will also include analysis of revenues, expenses, balance sheet, TCE, RWA, etc.

Execute Industry research, financial target setting, client analytics, business resourcing, as well as calendar and coordination management

Manage the presentations for Outlook, Earnings, Annual Plan, Mid-Year-Forecast, Monthly Business Reviews, and other deliverables for M&SS; business heads, CFO, and Operating Committee

Oversight and thorough understanding of all Competitor Analytics and business positioning across entire M&SS; franchise

Partner with various global functions (i.e. Product Control, Corporate/Sector FP&A;, Tax etc.) and business stakeholders to deepen LFOs analysis and manage various processes around actual and forward-looking financials

In partnership with the ICG Sector FP&A; and the wider ICG workstream teams, lead various projects to enhance efficiency of Citis financial processes and increase the informative value of the content provided to senior management.

Manage a team of analysts in NY and CSC

Key Skills:

This individual should possess knowledge in Institution Client Group and financial forecasting

Previous experience in overall expense management

Be capable of multitasking & prioritizing in a changing work environment

Should possess effective analytical and communication skills, both verbal & written

Technically proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and preferable in Hyperion and IFW

Be inquisitive, and poses a desire to continue to learn about the Markets business.

Qualifications:

BS in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field

8+ years of relevant experience

Prior planning and forecasting experience required

Possess a sound understanding of financial drivers, and their influence to the market

Experience in working with cross-functional team preferred

Experience in management position preferred

Ability to analyze, organize and synthesize large, complex sets of data

Should possess effective analytical and communication skills, both verbal & written

Technically proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and preferable in Hyperion and IFW

Be inquisitive, and poses a desire to continue to learn about the Markets business.
