The Business Associate is a senior level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include managing external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Associate may coordinate and manage activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs as necessary. May manage ad hoc projects as requested.
Responsibilities:
* Support the overall financial management and staffing plans of the Business Simplification Budget within Renault and in partnership with FP&A; Partners
* Complete financial deliverables including monthly forecasts, the annual investment process, client reporting and ad hoc requests
* Establish and manage strong relationships with a diverse group of senior stakeholders across Business Simplification and various Citi businesses and functions, to ensure adequate information sharing, reporting, alignment and communications are in place.
* Review and monitor the key performance indicators across the organization
* Serve as communications lead on strategy development and execution for internal business messaging
* Advance organization/people strategy goals including communications strategy, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives
* Assist leadership/Chief of Staff in promoting and executing communications program
* Drive productivity/ cost savings initiatives in partnership with the senior management team
* Partner with managers to help onboard 3rd party suppliers and support the various due diligence and ongoing processes around third party risk
* Support various ad hoc efforts across areas of real estate space planning, training, and other Corporate programs
* Prepare reports, briefings and presentations on strategic initiatives and priorities, as needed
* Participate in People Engagement Working Group and promote Voice of the Employee (VOE) communications
* Identify and develop business content for deployment, to enhance brand awareness with stakeholders and clients
* Leverage technology and tools to enable communications and generate excitement and interest in risk communications
* Support the development and execution of long-term plans aligned with Citi-wide strategies (Location Strategy, Organizational Simplification etc.)
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
* 6-10 years of experience in a financial services role
* Communications or marketing experience preferred
* Demonstrated working knowledge of financial services industry
* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required
* Experience in budget planning including working knowledge of Renault
* Able to adapt quickly to internal tools and processes.
* Strong team player who can work effectively in cross-organization situations.
* Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures
* Possesses strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations
Education:
* Bachelors Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
* Masters degree preferred
Skills:
* Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Able to work with large volumes of data from different sources.
* Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to deliver insight and conclusions in a concise and logical manner to seniors.
* Detail orientated with ability to also see larger picture.
* Clear/logical approach to problem-solving: breaking issues down to component parts and prioritizing the approach.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Proactive and ability to work independently or as a team player, with the ability to develop strong relationships with numerous partners.
* Ability to multitask, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be proactive and goal-oriented.
* Strong written and oral communication skills and confidence to work with managers at all organizational levels.
* Self-motivated with ability to make decisions and maintain a controlled environment.
