Description:
Drives and leads the successful execution of operational components of a clinical drug program using strong project management, communication and organizational skills. Contributes to the development of clinical strategy and helps shape the clinical development plan. Monitors operational progress and addresses and manages obstacles. Serves as primary GCO operational contact for the program. Coordinates the development of program level documents and plans. Effectively leads a global team of individuals assigned to the program.
Requirements:
At least 10 years of direct experience independently leading and managing global oncology clinical trials in the Pharmaceutical industry plus 3-5 years in a leadership position directing the operations of a global clinical oncology development program. Experience leading Phase 1 oncology clinical trials strongly preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of a BS/BA Degree with an advanced degree preferred. Strong program planning and project management skills. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Proven teambuilding skills and ability to foster partnerships across projects and multidisciplinary teams. Effective oral and written communication skills to influence, inform or guide others. Strong leadership skillsets and capabilities.
