Cardinal Health - Inside Sales Representative - Products and Services

The Inside Sales Representative, Products and Services role is a position within Cardinal Healths Inside Sales Center of Excellence. The inside sales representative is responsible for meeting and exceeding
goals in supporting the initiatives of the Products and Services group.

The inside sales representative will act as a member of an integrated team who works in partnership with sales support functions and sales and marketing leadership to accelerate growth and provide an overall
positive customer experience.

The mission of the Inside Sales Center or Excellence is to provide a high-touch sales model enabling our businesses to streamline sales allowing inside and outside sales to work together to most effectively
service our customers across all classes of trade while leveraging best in class capabilities.

Accountabilities in this role

* Call on current and potential customers to detail, educate and/or sell products and services to achieve business objectives
* Demonstrate solution-based selling skills to analyze customer needs and consult with customers to recommend suitable services, products, and solutions to meet the customers' needs
* Conduct effective presentations to various sized target audiences, including internal and external groups.
* Identify market intelligence on competitive activity, communicate to appropriate internal resources in a timely manner; develop and implement sales plans to meet business goals.
* Converts existing and potential customers' use of targeted products and services and ensures sustained and expanded sales of these products and services.
* Utilize our automated customer relationship and sales management system.
* Has the ability to learn quickly and multi-task effectively.
* Functional knowledge of current applicable computer operation systems, and computer software/hardware processed and procedures
* Cold calling customers with the goal of gaining a customer commitment
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
* Coordinate and participate in team activities to ensure attainment of fiscal year budget objectives and compliance with individual cost center controls. Support and follow established pricing policies and procedures.
* Perform other job-related duties as requested and works effectively with other team members to ensure the goals and objectives of the organization are met.
* Participate in projects and other initiatives inside and/or outside of the assigned area, department or business unit, as needed.
* Achieve assigned sales goals and customer contact frequency

* Work under moderate supervision

Qualifications

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Bachelors degree preferred, but not required
* Strong process management, customer service, and communication skills
* 1-2 years proven outside or inside sales experience
* Self-motivated to achieve goals

* Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Cardinal Health and customer industry, including: key competitors, terminology, technology, challenges, reimbursement and demonstrates basic knowledge of customers unique business needs related to Cardinal Health offerings; demonstrates working knowledge of how Cardinal Health offerings match with a customers' unique business needs
* Initiate customer calls with the objective of achieving short term business objectives
* Effectively collaborate with customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes
* Consult with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
* Functional knowledge of current applicable computer operating systems, and computer software/hardware processes and procedures.
